CAMBRIDGE YLE PREP COURSE

Get your students off on the right foot by fostering a positive relationship to learning from the very start. Our Cambridge YLE courses use games to enhance the language learning process in a fun and dynamic way. Children develop solid RWSL skills and become familiar with test formats while maintaining a playful attitude towards learning a new language throughout the different stages of their journey.

The progressive levels include:

  • Pre-A1 Starter

  • A1 Movers

  • A2 Flyers

PHONICS COURSE

Whether you dream of winning the spelling bee or just want to get more confident with reading, phonics courses are a great avenue to reach your desired goals. Our courses incorporate both systematic and non-systematic phonics and optimize for the best learning outcomes. This blended approach allows students to build a solid foundation in reading and spelling through games that teach them all they need to know about phonics. Let the games begin!

INTERVIEW COURSE

Interviews can be a nerve-wracking ordeal for children, especially for those who feel uneasy about the English language. How can we help students reduce their anxiety around this unavoidable process? By building confidence in the language. And the best way to do this is to actively use it—no magical shortcuts, I’m afraid!

But the process need not be a painful one. Our Interview Prep courses engage children through the use of games, helping them develop a healthy attitude towards the English language. By removing the sense of dread around the language, children can instead focus on the joys of expressing themselves in a new language, connecting with new friends, and sharing their thoughts and ideas with the world.

SECONDARY SCHOOL PROGRAMMES

PRE S1 SUMMER BRIDGING COURSE

Starting secondary school is a BIG deal. It’s equal parts exciting and scary for most. Our Pre-S1 Summer Bridging Course takes the edge off this milestone by preparing children for their transition into S1. This course is a great way for children to get to know each other in an informal setting and become familiar with their new environment. It’s also a great chance to lay the groundwork for the year ahead. We can tailor-make courses based on your needs, focusing on grammar, building vocabulary, or enhancing speaking skills, and using games to reinforce their previous learning in a light-hearted and relaxed way.

REMEDIAL COURSE

We respect that children learn at different speeds, and sometimes they just need a little help to get more confident. Our Remedial Courses are designed to be flexible and cater to the different aspects of learning that require some extra attention. Incorporating games is a great way of relieving stress and enhancing the process of learning while reinforcing the knowledge that they already have.

LIFE SPEAKING COURSE

It’s one thing to read a language confidently and quite another to use it in everyday conversation. Children have a natural desire to communicate with the world around them but may lack the opportunity to build real-life speaking skills. With our Life Speaking Course, children are encouraged to use the English language to express their authentic selves through activities like role-playing. Their confidence is further bolstered by learning common English phrases, idioms, and expressions, adding polish and flair to their speech.
